Mark claims drive of the day award at Monaghan Stages 2008

Mark Sheahan and co Driver Jonathan McGrath won class 6 at the recent Monaghan rally, they have now won the class in the first 3 rounds of the national tarmac championship and so have a 14 point lead in the championship over Ian and Paul Roche (also club members), they are also leading class 6 in the Border championship. Along with leading these championships in the Renault Clio Super 1600, they are also competing in the new national junior championship in a Peugeot 206 Cup car, after 3 rounds they are leading the class and overall championship by 6 points.
Also in the Tom White forestry rally, Mark tied with Ian Roche for the Tom White memorial trophy for the highest placed Limerick crew.
