Sean Liston and his co driver Katrina Walsh Liston managed to finish the Cavan stages rally after a very difficult day. Katrina describes her day "What can go wrong will go wrong! After our earlier problems, we then lost all brakes halfway through the last stage! Thank God there was a run off when we lost them, crawled through the rest of the stage and we're crawling back to parc ferme now.At least we've finished. Very happy with 25th overall and 6th in class despite all the problems. Bit of an overhaul needed now before the ALMC. Thanks a mill again to our sponsors Derek Walsh Camper Centre, John Stone at Legend Fires, HKC Security and Wheel Fix Ie. thanks a mill again to my dad in service and Ed O Callaghan and Ger Clancy and all at O'Callaghan Motorsport and Trevor Mc Connell and all the lads at McConnell Motorsport for all ye're help keeping us going all day!"

They finished 6th in class 13 and 25th overall.

Limerick was well represented at the Saint Goueno hillcimb in Brittany, France. Peter Cummins took his Darrian T90 to the event and drove in the two practice runs aon Saturday and the three timed runs on Sunday.

Jack Kingston was there in his Lotus Elan and Donal Griffin was driving Denis Hogan Sr's BRM engined Hillman Avenger, Denis Jr had his now supercharged BMW E36 out for its first run. Paul O'Connell still has some troubleshooting to do with his V10 powered BMW E30, some ducting modifications allowed the car to stay cool and complete all five runs on the hill.
